Job Description

Assists in monitoring billing related functions are performed in an efficient manner consistent with department policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

+ Resolve complex Workers' Compensation billing situations, denials, and payment discrepancies.
+ Prepare and submit comprehensive appeals for denied or underpaid claims, including drafting compelling appeal letters.
+ Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including denial management and follow-up.
+ Conduct thorough follow-up on outstanding Workers' Compensation accounts receivable with payers, adjusters, and legal representatives.
+ Manage high-volume work queues, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
+ Analyzes Workers' Compensation fee schedules and reimbursement payment terms, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accurate expected payments.
