Position Overview

The home site for this position is Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH); however, the role will also require periodic rotation to The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) to support pathology services and maintain clinical competency. This position will be responsible for the management of sample reception, accessioning and preparation for diagnostic testing, analysis, interpretation and result reporting of clinical/pathology samples. It assists with training, identifies and resolves unsuitable specimens, and keeps records of all tests and procedures performed. It may rotate through different specified job functions.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8‑hour shifts. Standby/call‑back may be required. Rotation between QCH and TOH campuses will be required. For information purposes only – EORLA reserves the right to change.
