The Austin office of Thompson Coe, LLP seeks an attorney with 10-plus-years' experience in civil litigation to join the Professional Liability section of the firm. Candidates should have a working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, excellent advocacy and writing skills, and previous experience defending professional liability and/or commercial litigation matters. The attorney in this position will work on a variety of professional liability cases and matters, including defending architects, engineers and other design professionals, attorneys, community associations, accountants, directors and officers, insurance agents and brokers, and real estate professionals in breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, malpractice, and negligence cases, and in administrative matters.
