The Assistant Coach provides support to the head coach in all aspects of the program through the competitive season (August-December).  Coach and mentor student-athletes in support of their growth as a student-athlete and member of the Middlebury College community.  

This is considered a full-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. This is a term-limited position from August 10 through December 11, 2026 for 40 hours/week. The minimum starting rate for the position is $24.47 per hour.



Core Responsibilities:

~ Coach players in techniques and tactics of soccer at practice and in competitions. 



~ Recruit prospective student-athletes within the rules and regulations of Middlebury, NESCAC and the NCAA.  



~ Assist the head coach in preparing for daily practice including but not limited to developing daily practice plans.
