Fire Safety Manager (FSM) – General Duties The FSM shall assist the owner or occupier of the premises to:
Fire Safety Compliance - Ensure compliance with all fire safety requirements stated in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Identify and report any fire safety non‑compliance to the owner/occupier.
- Maintain written records of: Details of non‑compliance. Date and method of notification to the owner/occupier.
- Ensure compliance with all fire safety conditions imposed for any approved temporary change of use.
- Inform the owner/occupier if a required Fire Certificate is not valid or has expired.
