Job Responsibilities
Maintain assigned grounds through landscaping duties including mowing, weeding, pruning, and pest control; repair and maintain irrigation systems. Operate manual, electric, and gas-powered tools and equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, hedgers). Clean and maintain equipment; ensure storage areas remain organized and orderly. Prepare areas for sodding and repair public safety hazards such as ground holes or loose turf. Perform routine maintenance checks on grounds equipment and vehicles before and after use. Conduct minor repairs, including small engine work, fuel system replacement, basic wiring, and welding; report major issues to a supervisor.
