**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

The Parent Partner is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care. Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process.

+ All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization.
+ The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources.
+ Interfaces professionally with DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools and other community liaisons.

**Job Requirements**
Required

+ A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work
+ High School equivalency
+ Past consumer of DMH, DCFS, Probation, Regional Center or similar services, successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish language skills required
+ Familiarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs.
