and What You'll Be DoingOur Restructuring & Insolvency team have a wide area of expertise, focusing on insolvency matters; including advising banks, insolvency practitioners, debtors and other creditors on all matters arising where insolvency is likely or where a formal insolvency is imminent or has occurred.
As a Paralegal, you’ll join the team to provide assistance with advising creditors and insolvency practitioners on court applications, claims and technical points. You will have the responsibility for managing your own caseloads under supervision from qualified lawyers in the team. You’ll be required to provide preliminary advice and guidance to clients, as well as preparing letters and documents for court cases. In addition, you may be required to assist with insolvency petitions and applications such as bankruptcy, winding up, applications under s236 of the Insolvency Act 1986, preference claims, claims for transactions at an undervalue an...
