As a Packager at Steel Technologies, your main responsibility is to setup and operate banding equipment to properly package materials and prepare for shipment to our customers. In this role, you will have exposure to our finished goods and learn more about our customers and end product.

Prepare skids to customer specificationsOperate turnstile, down layer, banding line equipment and crane as needed to package materialPackage material to meet customer specifications per customer supplied information and standard packaging instructionsEnsure proper identification and segregationOperate forklift and/or overhead crane to transport materials to and from storage areas, work stations, and working within areas of assignmentSafely handle material without damageClean packaging area or any other assigned areaMaintain production standards...
