The OSP Telecom Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing outside plant telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cable systems. This role supports aerial, underground, and buried network construction activities while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications, customer standards, and industry best practices.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install, splice, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cable systems.
+ Perform aerial and underground outside plant construction support.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, splice diagrams, work prints, maps, and job specifications.
+ Install and maintain handholes, pedestals, cabinets, terminals, closures, and related OSP equipment.
+ Perform fiber testing using OTDR, power meters, light sources, and related test equipment.
