Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their team. The new Physician Assistant will work directly with an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. This position includes both the OR and the Clinic. This is a very busy doctor that handles shoulder, elbow, fractures and some hand cases. The Physician Assistant will be trained to run a parallel clinic to this doctor. The Physician Assistant will provide treatment for simple fractures, overuse injuries, and work with the orthopedic surgeon on more complex fracture problems. The position is Mon. to Fri, 9 to 5PM,no call or evenings or weekends.

Additional day to day responsibilities include: injections, removing casts and pins, reductions, first assists, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting.
