Surgical Technologist

Townsen Memorial Hospital is looking for a Surgical Technologist to join our team! The Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing in and assisting the physician for all cases. After completion of each case, the surgical technologist will be on standby for sterile technician needs which includes the following aspects of sterile processing to include decontamination, preparation packaging sterilization and sterile storage while adhering to department policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Works with specialty surgical instrumentation, troubleshoots problems and repairs
• Assimilates and communicates information received from various sources that is in an accurate, timely, and effective manner
• Reviews instrumentation needs, manages Inventory and stock operating par levels for stored instrumentation and emergency carts
