Responsibilities include provide comprehensive routine eye exams, manage and follow glaucoma patients, perform testing including OCT and fundus photography, refer surgical cases to the ophthalmologist/owner of the practice, and work with MD one day per week for continuity of care. This is a high pathology practice and the optometrist would be responsible for all the routine eye exams and pass on the surgical cases to the ophthalmologist.
