About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and dependable Optometric Technician to join our small, dedicated team at Optometry Care! Our clinic is located inside the Exchange at JBLM, where we provide full-scope primary eye care to a wonderful military community. Base access is not required. If you’re selected as a good fit for the role, we will arrange access for you. This is a long-term position with opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Scheduling Appointments, Verifying Insurance

Performing pre-testing and gathering patient history

Assisting the doctor with eye exams and diagnostic testing (like visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, etc.)

Training patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care

Maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
