Overview Reporting to the Global Head of Metals Operations, the Operator will manage day‑to‑day scheduling and physical delivery operations for the Global Metals team, ensuring smooth execution of contracts across the Asia‑Pacific region.
Responsibilities - Serve as the primary contact for routine internal and external inquiries regarding physical delivery.
- Monitor and resolve transport, storage, and customs issues, coordinating with freight forwarders, labs, warehouses, and surveyors.
- Maintain accurate storage and product movement records, including accruals and inventory reconciliation.
- Provide trade recaps, confirmations, and contract reviews in collaboration with traders and settlement teams.
- Identify opportunities for AI and process improvement to increase traffic efficiency.
- Document procedures and update system records as required.
- Participate in team meetings and support cross‑training efforts.
