Requirements

• Appropriate degree/diploma in Nursing or equivalent, 7 years recognisable service as a professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse (2026).
• Experience in a travel clinic environment or Travel Medicine certificate will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel for campaigns within districts, work irregular and extended hours during disease outbreaks.
• Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy.
• Good knowledge of nursing legislation, ethical practices, and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of travel vaccines, malaria chemoprophylaxis, and the malaria elimination strategy 2028.
