Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathology Assistant works under the supervision of licensed speech language pathologists. The position assists in developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, directing groups of students on activities, and documenting the progress of treatment. The position has a retirement association with the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS).
Job RequirementsThe following are required:
An associate's degree in disabilities with a speech-language support emphasis, or a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution, both including fieldwork experience.A valid Alaska and/or national speech language pathology assistant license.

Experience working with children.
