The Cordillera Metro District Public Works Technician maintains and repairs more than 40 miles of paved roads, lighting and signage, road fencing, landscaping, open space and the equestrian center, as well as snowplowing and other winter emergencies. This role operates a variety of equipment and power tools, adheres to safety and security guidelines, and supports a positive and professional work environment.

What You'll Do

• Receive and execute work orders from the Community Operations Supervisor, prioritizing tasks to meet district needs.
• Safely operate equipment including light-duty dump trucks, large plow trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, graders, and other heavy machinery.
• Use tools and materials appropriate to each job and follow project specifications.
