The position involves a large amount of client interaction and education, working directly with veterinarians, pets, and clients during office visits, plus technician-specific appointments for blood draws, laser therapy, injections and similar procedures. Other responsibilities include anesthesia, dental procedures, post-surgical monitoring, radiology, dispensing medications, sample preparation and handling, calls to clients, and inventory assistance.
