Join UChicago Medicine as a Nursing Support Assistant in our Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant Unit!

With the leadership of the Manager and the Clinical Supervisor, the Nursing Support Assistant (CNA) performs assigned supportive work in connection with the delivery of patient care, including functional tasks and skills.

The University of Chicago Medicine is designated as a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, meaning the hospital is prepared to handle the most seriously injured trauma patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This unit is a high acuity, fast-paced oncology unit, which is looking for a NSA with attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to multi-task. Prefers 6 months of nursing assistant experience, but willing to hire new graduates from an accredited NSA program.
