The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse (RN IV) to function as Nursing Supervisor for the evening shift. The successful applicant will supervise staff and assist in the care of patients using the standards of care and current nursing policies; is responsible for the general supervision of all subordinate nursing staff both professional and non-professional in collaboration with the Director of Nurses, is responsible for ongoing administrative and clinical supervision of staff as assigned. The Registered Nurse assesses the health care needs of the patients and assures their needs are met. All interactions will be person centered utilizing a person first approach with safety of all being the number one priority while acknowledging the dignity of risk.
