: The steepest healthcare workforce shortages in the State of Arkansas, especially in lower-income urban and rural areas, directly impact the delivery of essential health services to high-need communities. To address this dire healthcare workforce need, a statewide consortium of six of Arkansas’ public two-year institutions has been awarded $5.7 million for the Bridging Healthcare Workforce Shortages in Arkansas (BRIDGE-AR) initiative. The institutions are as follows:

• Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas
