Job Opening Summary

The RAPID RESPONSE RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The Rapid Response RN will be required to float to North Campus, the Pavilion and Specialty areas. The RRT RN team may respond to ACC building, Faculty Clinic, both inpatient and outpatient departments in Pavilion, North and Clinical Center including front and back sidewalks of hospital buildings and employee garage. The Rapid Response RN must comply with all license, certification, and training requirements. The Rapid Response RN is expected to perform as mentor in Walking in the Shoes of a Nurse Leader when assigned. The Rapid Response RN is expected to proactively round on assigned patients, respond to activations and codes, lead debriefings and provide bedside education.
