Summary The VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mental Health Substance Treatment Program (MH STP). The RN provides recovery-oriented care for Veterans with mental health and substance use disorders by conducting assessments, coordinating care, administering treatments, educating patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Major Duties: Provide direct nursing care to Veterans receiving mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Perform comprehensive mental health and psychiatric nursing assessments. Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery-oriented treatment. Administer injectable medications and perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) as appropriate.
