Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNRVMC)- Days (Open)

Up to $30,000 new hire sign on bonus and up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. HOURS: Mainly M-F dayshift with call, rotating holiday and weekends. Occasional coverage at Giles Hospital. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

• Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain images and test results.
• Administers diagnostic and therapeutic doses to patients under the direction of an authorized user by IV, inhalation and ingestion.
• Prepares patients for examinations and explains procedures, correlating patient history with test to be performed.
• May assist with scheduling, registration, image management and computer processing for patients.
