Outpatient Booking Co-ordinator – Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

We are looking for a Band 4 Outpatient Booking Co‑ordinator to work 21 hours per week in the Outpatient Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post is available on a weekly rota with the following hours:

• Monday 12:30‑17:00
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 08:30‑12:30
• Friday 12:30‑17:00

The successful applicant will display initiative, be a team player, and be self‑motivated. You will prioritise conflicting demands across day‑treatment and outpatient areas and maintain regular contact with staff in the Anchor Unit. You must be able to attend to service users and colleagues in a confident, caring and empathetic manner, whether on the phone or in person.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Coordinating outpatient appointments and managing patient bookings.
• Communicating with clinicians and support staff to optimise scheduling.
