POSITION SUMMARY Contributes to the organization by working closely with the ophthalmologist to perform basic, advance, and complex preliminary tests and measurements of the eyes. The OA generally meets with the patient before the Ophthalmologist to obtain medical history and prepare the patient for the examination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for properly stocking, preparing, and maintaining the cleanliness of exam rooms during clinic. Reviews patient chart for accuracy of information.
