Lerner Tower 6 is a 30 bed adult surgical inpatient division providing care to orthopedic, neurological spine, surgery, and trauma patients. Orthopedics includes total joint replacement, fracture, spine and orthopedic trauma services with a component of subacute neurology and general trauma. We are proud of our recognition as a Center of Excellence and our DNV certification for spine patients. We were the first non-ICU at UH awarded the AACN Gold Beacon recognition for Excellence in Nursing Care. We continue to be recognized as an exemplary NICHE and Level II age friendly facility recognized for the care of the elderly.
