Program Overview

The New Graduate Nursing Residency Program is a 12‑month, accelerated pathway designed to prepare recent Baccalaureate Nursing graduates for a career in Paediatric Critical Care Nursing (PICU). Residents begin on an inpatient medical‑surgical unit and progress to the PICU with mentorship, feedback and comprehensive paediatric orientation.

• Maintain and enhance clinical competence through ongoing education and life‑long learning.
