The Network Specialist / Engineer role is to provide technical service to our enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will be deployed for onsite implementation work and will be on a 5-day work week schedule. To provide level 1 and 2 network support for our enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Install and support networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems from vendors such as Cisco Systems.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues (latency, packet loss, outages).
Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and IP addressing.
Implement and maintain network security (ACLs, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for infrastructure and application support.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
