Position Overview
FORMAL EDUCATION: - Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma qualifications in ICT field will be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE: - 5 7 years experience in a network environment
- Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments.
- Configuration and maintenance network equipment.
- Experience with firewall administration (e.g. Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco ASA).
- VLAN configuration, trunking, spanning tree, and link aggregation (LACP).
- Implementing and managing routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP basic).
- IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and NAT configuration experience.
- Monitoring network performance and availability.
- Troubleshooting network incidents escalated from Level 1 support.
- Supporting remote site connectivity (VPN/IPSec/SSL VPN).
