POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facility NDT Technician will perform non-destructive testing of piping systems and fixed equipment as directed by the Senior Inspector within their assigned area(s) of responsibility. The work schedule will be 40+ hours a week working offshore on the RIGS in the Kenai Peninsula.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Perform required NDE of inspections areas as directed by the Mistras InspectorIdentify inspection locations in accordance with written procedures.Document inspection findings appropriately for the given method.Create UT Sketches for documenting locations and inspection results and submit to Mistras Inspector or Mistras Lead InspectorComplete assigned inspections in a timely manner to ensure compliance with schedule.Immediately report equipment malfunctions/damage to supervisor and/or MTE....
