Position Title: National Fundraiser
Department: Fund Development
Reports To: Fund Development Manager
Location: National Office (Cape Town)
Travel Required: Some travel required

Main Purpose of the Role

The primary objective of the National Fundraiser is to generate the income required to support ongoing operations and growth strategy. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with donors and ensuring excellent stewardship.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Achieve quarterly and annual fundraising targets. Conduct prospect research to identify new potential donors and inform a structured cultivation and solicitation plan. Compile and complete grant applications in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a monthly spreadsheet tracking identified prospects and submitted proposals.
