About the Role

St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy is seeking an outstanding teacher of Music to support and further develop the department including Voicebox choir, jazz orchestra and Key Stage 3 and 4 ensembles.

The role involves teaching music across Key Stages, contributing to the strategic development of the department, and representing the school as a lead in the Music Partnership network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver music instruction to pupils at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Lead the Voicebox choir, jazz orchestra and other ensembles
• Participate in strategic planning and development of the department
• Possibly offer Music at A Level (advantage but not essential)
• For full‑time positions: support teaching a second subject, ideally Religious Education or humanities
