Position Overview
Mold Maker
Direct Hire - $35 -$40 per hour Location: Stratford, CT Bench Work & Maintenance: Prep shot blocks, install ejector pins, plumb water lines, and perform essential stoning/polishing to ensure mold integrity. Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose critical production issues such as flash, galling, or cooling inefficiencies; perform engineering changes as required. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with the Engineering department to interpret blueprints, resolve design flaws, and optimize mold performance.Required Equipment & Software Stack: EDM Operations: Proficiency in Esprit and Sinker EDM for intricate cavity detailing. CNC & 5-Axis: Hands-on experience operating Mazak equipment (3-axis and 5-axis capabilities). Manual/Conversational: Skilled in the use of 2-axis and 3-axis Prototrak Mills and
