Purpose
Pay Range - $42.00 to $45.00 an Hour
Provide quality x-ray services to senior patients living in a senior community or receiving home-based care
Responsibilities

• Provide accurate images to allow physicians to diagnose patient illnesses by skillfully operating x-ray equipment
• Ensure operation of x-ray equipment by completing required preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions
• Assure that the patient receiving an x-ray is correct and matches the information provided by dispatch
• Prepare patient for procedure by positioning and adjusting as necessary
• Determine if correct images have been taken in comparison to physician orders
• Pay attention to detail and image quality
• Secure copy of physician's order and patient face sheet from nursing staff
• Report any needs for supplies and equipment as it may be recognized
