Job Description

United Infrastructure Transmission & Distribution are recruiting for a hybrid/mobile Plant Fitter. This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be based at Darlington, County Durham for a minimum of 24 weeks for familiarisation and training. Thereafter you would operate independently. UK travel is also required.

As a UK wide operation, you will work as part of a team responsible for the Planning & Control of Servicing. This will include day to day repairs of HGV and varied fleet equipment as well as planned maintenance of Specialised Overhead Line Winching & Tensioning Machinery.

What You Will Do

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on specialist OHL plant & Equipment including winches, Puller/tensioners, Tractors, HGVs and other specialist plant and equipment.
