Summary This position is within the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Pittsburgh, PA Regional Office and is assigned to overseas, out-based duty locations in Landstuhl, Germany and Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Relocation expenses are not authorized. Applicants may select only one duty location for consideration. Responsibilities Serve as primary resource for the Service members and their dependents to initiate a Benefits Due at Discharge (BDD) or excluded claims process regarding VA benefits; Receive packages from discharging Service members and reviews same to ensure compliance with acceptable referral criteria; Schedule and conduct appointments with Service members to provide Service members and/or their dependent(s) overview of benefits and provide resources for obtaining VA contact information; Advise Service members of purpose of BDD, and BDD excluded.
