DEFINITION

Piedmont Recreation Department is seeking coaches for our Middle School and Youth Sports programs. In conjunction with coaching, the role of a Middle School and Youth Sports coach is character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they may achieve a high level of appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Our coaches embrace the mission and philosophy of Piedmont Middle School to support the development of the student body and the position requires thoughtful and respectful interactions with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents, and other community members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

As Rec Leader I - equivalent to the completion of the 11^th grade and some experience working/volunteering in a childcare or recreation program. 17 years or age and older.
