Microbiology Analyst

Position Summary

12‑hour rotating continental shifts (Days – 6am‑6pm). Full‑time in‑office at the Windsor site, Windsor, Ontario. The analyst reports to the Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor and coordinates and performs laboratory activities/projects including analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. They are part of a scientific team that assists in the advancement, research, and development of pharmaceutical products.

The Role

• Sample and test raw materials, finished products, and stability samples using microbial methods described in compendia references or in‑house methods.
• Perform environmental monitoring sampling and testing.
• Maintain stock cultures and oversee growth promotion.
• Conduct routine monitoring and calibration of designated lab equipment and prepare media and reagents.
