Job overview
We are looking for 2 candidates (each 22.5 hours), who will support the existing Lead Midwife caring for those with Mental health concerns.
You will be based at either Basingstoke or Winchester Hospitals and work 3 days per week.
You must be a registered midwife with the NMC with current UK experience.
Main duties of the job
To lead and supervise the day to day assessment of pregnant and postnatal women in relation to their mental health needs, implementing plans of care and evaluating their effectiveness.To work closely with the Head of Midwifery, Antenatal, Postnatal and Community Clinical Matrons, Named Midwife Safeguarding Children and Obstetricians; being a source of information and guidance regarding policy and protocols relating to Perinatal Mental Health and the impact on women and their families Liaise with Perinatal Mental Health Services, Community Mental Health Services and p...
