Job Description:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing high complexity laboratory testing, analyzing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of patient results. This role requires strict adherence to regulatory guidelines, quality control standards, and laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will maintain compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards while ensuring the highest level of patient confidentiality and laboratory excellence. Responsibilities: Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting, and record maintenance. Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens and maintain proper documentation.
