Position Overview
Key Responsibilities - Improve work safety and work quality.
- Ensure proper control and utilization of material resources.
- Read all mechanical drawings and simple instructions.
- Calculate arithmetic on lengths, angles, scales, conversion of unit, etc.
- Familiar with location of major equipment onboard vessels.
- Start‑up marine system and handover to operation.
- Review the production work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate and build a good rapport with both internal and external parties (Surveyors and Clients).
- Assist the Foremen/ Engineers in supervising the workforce.
- Look after the welfare of his workers.
- Ensure the discipline of his workers.
Education and Experience - Higher NITEC or Certificate in Marine Institute or GCE ‘N’ Level. Foreign Diploma/ Degree holders are also acceptable.
