SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance team of a modern CCGT power station in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

This role focuses on delivering safe, reliable mechanical maintenance across the plant, supporting availability, efficiency, and long-term asset performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure all mechanical equipment is maintained to a high standard.

The role will involve:

Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on rotating and static plant equipment
Maintenance and overhaul of pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors, heat exchangers and associated systems
Supporting maintenance activities across turbine auxiliaries and balance of plant
Carrying out fault-finding, defect rectification and first-line repairs
