Mechanical Engineer

Location: Bergen

Main tasks:

• Design and 3D modelling in Autodesk Inventor
• Mechanical calculations, structural, welds etc.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, checklists, ITPs)
• Engineering of tailor‑made sheaves and crane blocks
• FEM analysis (Nastran/Inventor Simulation)
• Revision control and document management using PDM
• Technical support during production and assembly
• Participating in technical reviews and client/third‑party dialogue
• Supporting verification/documentation processes for DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s

Qualifications:

• Minimum BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and Nastran/Ansys
• Understanding of mechanical systems, stress, and materials
