Position Overview
Position Summary:
The Mechanical Assembler requires a wide range of skills to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and simple electrical assemblies.
Major Responsibilities:
Use Busse machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, controls schematics and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and problem solve where needed.Engage in the reduction and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.Utilize hand tools proficiently in performing the following tasks: Structural assembly, Mechanical drive assembly, Fluid control assembly, Guard and cover assembly, Mechanical assembly, simple electrical assembly. Work must represent quality workmanship, neatness, with acceptable efficiencies.Complete quality assurance checks for the Busse Blue Books.Provide accurate documentation skills that includes labor reporting, material issue/returns, materi...
