The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on‑/off‑road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function, vehicle safety, and meet quality and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair on‑/off‑road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals.
• Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant).
• Communicate concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager.
• Respond to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Ro...
