Position Overview
Job Responsibilities - Review and interpret Electrical tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ), and cost breakdowns for Electrical works.
- Prepare detailed tender pricing including material, labour, equipment, and installation cost breakdown.
- Source, evaluate, and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing to achieve competitive project costing.
- Prepare and submit tender proposals and supporting technical/commercial documents.
- Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering exercises.
- Prepare variation orders, progress claims, and subcontractor payment evaluations.
- Review Letters of Award, subcontract terms, and project commercial requirements.
- Coordinate closely with project/site teams on costing and project execution matters.
