Marketing/Event Coordinator

The Marketing/Event Coordinator will assist in promoting and implementing events, including fundraising and program activities that benefit mentoring. This includes planning events, marketing, and seeking and securing funding opportunities. The coordinator also maintains a good working relationship with the public.

This individual, in this position, is directly accountable and reports to the Executive Director and will work in cooperation with the Executive Director, following Agency policy and mandate.

• Marketing of all special events, including website, social media, and recruitment of volunteers
• Assist with planning events, including fundraising and program activities to meet Agency goals
• Assist with obtaining ongoing and sustainable financial support for the Agency
• Assist with programs and activities as required
• Clerical support as needed to fulfill the duties of the position
