Position Overview
Job Description - Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
- Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
- Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.
- May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
